We will be having an Adult Leader Training and dinner for current and prospective leaders on August
29th from 5:30 - 7:30 PM. R.S.V.P. is needed for meal planning. We look forward to seeing you.
The most valuable asset a 4-H member can have is his or her PARENTS.
We recognize the input and guidance an adult has with a 4-H member directly affects the level of
success that member can and will achieve.
The Reason Your Participation with 4-H Youth is Important
The 4-H program builds self-esteem and productive citizens with skills to live in our dynamic global society. Preparing
youth and adults for the future is the educational initiative of the 4-H & Youth Development Program. The 4-H program
helps youth in gaining knowledge, developing lifetime skills, and in forming attitudes that will enable them to become
contributing members of society.
4-H Offers Hands-On Education for Youth
The 4-H program uses hands-on learning experiences to teach educational information. These experiences provide
opportunities to develop skills in communication, critical decision making, team work, record keeping, career exploration,
management, responsibility and scientific knowledge.
Volunteer Leaders are Teachers
Recruiting and involving volunteer leaders is a key part of the 4-H & Youth Development Program. Leader training is an
essential element to an ongoing and active program in which volunteers are involved as club managers, project leaders and
activity coordinators. Youth and adults learn winning attitudes and skills they can use throughout their lifetime.
Thank You for Your Interest in the Future of Our Youth!
