Walker County 4-H was pleased to have one of our 4-H Leaders recognized on the State Level during the 2000 year.
Sam Walker, 4-H Horse Club Leader was presented the 4-H Salute to Excellence Award during Texas 4-H Roundup by
Dr. Ed Hiler, Vice Chancellor and Director of Extension (left), and Dr. Chester Fehlis, Associate Vice Chancellor and
Deputy Director of Extension (right). Sam has served as an Adult Leader in Walker County for the past 12 years.
Many of our 4-H members have benefitted from his experience and knowledge. CONGRATULATIONS SAM -
THANK YOU FOR YOUR DEDICATION TO THE YOUTH OF WALKER COUNTY!
